Hi All! I want my home to smell fresh, aromatic and sweet all day long. To banish bad odours, my husband bought a couple of room fresheners. The fragrances of these products were wonderful. Swimming Australia releases findings of report on treatment of women and girls

Swimming Australia has released the findings of a report commissioned in June 2021 after explosive allegations by Olympic silver medallist Maddie Groves of the sport's "misogynistic" culture. At the time, Groves announced she was withdrawing from Tokyo Olympic trials as a "lesson to all misogynistic perverts in sport and their bootlickers." It led to the establishment of an independent panel to investigate the treatment of women and girls in the sport. The panel spoke to 150 participants including former and current athletes, parents, coaches, technical officials, volunteers and administrators. Qantas accused of taking 'the nuclear option' with flight attendants to 'blow up' their EBA

Qantas is being accused of "taking advantage" of the pandemic to "blow up" workplace agreements with international flight attendants. The Australian airline went to the Fair Work Commission this week to terminate its enterprise deal with long-haul cabin crew. The application to the Fair Work Commission comes as the cabin crew, their union and Qantas have been in stalled negotiations over changing the terms of the workers' agreement. This is the first time in its history that Qantas has tried to tear up an existing workplace agreement. COVID-19 testing under pressure across Australia, as rapid antigen tests remain hard to find and long delays for PCRs

Australians are being warned to expect long COVID-19 testing queues and wait times for at least several more weeks, as pathology labs continue to be hit by huge demand and staff shortages around the country.  Driving the surge in cases is the highly transmissible Omicron variant, with New South Wales today recording 35,054 cases and Victoria 17,636, both significant spikes compared to previous days. Medical experts suggest there are now many COVID cases not included in the official daily figures due to difficulties in accessing PCR testing.  Read More: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-01-05/covid-testing-pcr-delays-rat-test-supply-issues/100738982
